Parsley Pistou

Here is Recipe #6! Remember: these ingredients and instructions are suggestions. I encourage you to be creative, use what you have, and make the adjustments that make sense for you. Measurements not included because I don't measure. 😍
INGREDIENTS
Parsley
Olive Oil
Lemon Juice
Parmesan
Garlic
Black Pepper
Sea Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Wash and de-stem the parsley. *Tip* Basil is traditionally used but parsley or a combination of herbs works too (e.g. cilantro, mint)
STEP 2: Remove as much water as possible and put parsley aside to continue drying.
STEP 3: Peel garlic and mince.
STEP 4: Add garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and half of the parsley to the food processor. *Tip* This can also be done by hand and is definitely more authentic!
STEP 5: Pulse and then add olive oil, lemon juice, and Parmesan incrementally along with the remaining parsley.
STEP 6: Pulse again if necessary and then taste test to see if more ingredients are needed. *Tip* Be careful not to over-pulse unless you want the pistou to be more of a sauce than a spread.
STEP 7: Spread on everything.
STEP 8: Eat and enjoy!
