INGREDIENTS
Ground Beef
Olive Oil
Pasta Sauce
Tomatoes
Yellow Onions
Garlic
Red Pepper Flakes
Chili Pepper
Black Pepper
Sea Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Wash and clean the ground beef. Put aside to drain.
STEP 2: Peel the garlic and onions. Mince the garlic and finely dice the onions.
STEP 3: Finely dice your tomatoes. I used a combination of fresh and canned. Remember to use what you have!
STEP 3: Heat up a pan. Add olive oil to the pan followed by the onions. Sauté until golden brown.
STEP 4: Add tomatoes to the pan. Sauté until they start to break down.
STEP 5: Add ground beef to the pan. Break up with your spoon until it's all separated. Cook for a few minutes until it starts to brown.
STEP 6: Season with sea salt, black pepper, chili powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix together well and let it cook.
STEP 7: Add pasta sauce. Mix together, cover, and let simmer.
STEP 8: Add minced garlic. Mix together and taste test. Add additional spices if necessary. Cover and let simmer.
STEP 9: Cook on low heat, stirring (and tasting) every once in a while.
STEP 10: Serve with your favourite pasta and garnish with Parmesan and black pepper.
STEP 11: Eat and enjoy!
